PPM Double Seal Purging Systems are precision pipe purging solutions designed for small diameter pipes and high-spec welding applications.
Using a dual silicone sealing disc system, the units create an airtight chamber around the weld zone, significantly reducing purge time and gas consumption. The flexible connection between the seals allows the system to adapt to pipe variations while maintaining consistent sealing performance.
These systems are ideal for applications where weld quality is critical, including stainless steel, pharmaceutical and orbital welding environments.
The system uses two sealing discs positioned either side of the weld zone, connected by a flexible or rigid tube.
Purge gas is introduced between the seals, displacing oxygen and creating a controlled environment for welding. The design prevents gas turbulence and ensures stable purge conditions, improving weld consistency and quality.
The system can be used as a complete unit or configured with individual components depending on the application.
