Handy Purge 100 Self Calibrating Weld Purge Monitor

The PPM Purge Oxygen Monitor is designed to accurately measure oxygen levels inside a pipe during purging, ensuring optimal conditions before welding begins.

By providing real-time oxygen readings, the monitor removes guesswork and allows operators to confirm when oxygen levels are low enough to achieve high-quality, oxide-free welds.

Compact and easy to use, it is an essential tool for quality control in pipe welding applications.

Features and Advantages

  • Measures oxygen levels from 0.01% to 20.9% (100 ppm – 209,000 ppm)
  • Self-calibrating for accurate readings
  • Eliminates guesswork before welding
  • Indicates exactly when purge conditions are ready
  • Reduces purge gas consumption
  • Ensures consistent weld quality
  • Compact and portable design
  • Works with all purge systems

The monitor enables welders to avoid starting too early, preventing poor welds such as oxidation, discolouration or contamination.

Handy Purge 100 Self Calibrating

How It Works

The device samples the oxygen level inside the pipe during purging using a probe and hose system.

It continuously measures the oxygen concentration and displays the reading on an LCD screen. Once the required low oxygen level is reached, welding can begin with confidence.

This ensures stable purge conditions and consistent weld quality across all applications.
