PPM Heat Resistant Purging Systems are designed for pipe welding applications where elevated temperatures are present, such as pre-heated pipework and high-temperature welding environments. They are available across a wide size range of 3″ to 80″ (60 to 2,044 mm) and are based on the same inflatable purging approach used in the standard Purge Bag and Rapid Purge systems.
These systems are built to withstand temperatures of up to 350°C (662°F) for up to 24 hours, or 500°C (932°F) for short periods, making them suitable for demanding welding operations where standard purge equipment would not be appropriate.
A central luminous band is included to help position the system accurately at the weld root before inflation, improving setup speed and consistency.
