The PPM Purge Bag System is a double inflatable pipe purging solution designed to deliver fast, efficient and oxygen-free weld environments.
Used primarily in stainless steel and high-spec pipe welding applications, the system creates a sealed purge zone using two inflatable dams connected by a central spine. This allows welders to achieve clean, oxide-free welds while significantly reducing purge time and gas consumption.

The system uses a tandem inflatable dam design connected by an umbilical hose.
Once positioned inside the pipe, the dams are inflated to create a sealed purge zone around the weld. Gas is introduced between the dams, rapidly displacing oxygen and creating an optimal welding environment.
A central luminous strip ensures accurate positioning before inflation.
